ABOUT ME

I love writing. I love the way a series of symbols come together to encompass the entire breath of human thought and understanding. Words are insanely cool, they shape the world. Small linguistic changes can incite a crowd, or bring them tears. I want to be a part of that, I want to use words to shape the world.

As a child I told stories through my art, drawing pictures one every surface I could find. I once even "enhanced" my dads antique dresser by carving flowers into it.

When I got older I learned to tell stories in other ways (without damaging the furniture). Writing allowed me to take my thoughts and share them with anyone who was willing to read them.

Now I go everywhere with a pen and a paintbrush.

I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English. I have a wonderful 3 year old puppy. And, if you are interested, I would love to share my art and stories with you here. So please, look around, read the blog, and share your thoughts with me on the forum tab!
